In Microsoft 365 (M365) any application that uses Profile Cards can connect your personal LinkedIn profile to your University M365 profile. This allows LinkedIn information to be populated in profile cards across different Microsoft 365 applications like OneDrive for Business, SharePoint and Outlook on the web with matching contacts.
Connecting your LinkedIn profile to your University profile requires careful consideration of the pros and cons. You may prefer not to link the two, and it is important to remember that you represent the university. This is an optional opt-in configuration.
The Profile Card is most commonly seen in Outlook, whether on a desktop application or on the web. The instructions provided here apply to Outlook and other applications that support Profile Cards.
